APRIL FOOL

April Fools Day Falls On 1st Of April,
It is celebrated as a day when many people play good-humoured or otherwise funny jokes, hoaxes on friends, family members, teachers, neighbors, work associates, etc.

History
It is not fully known when All Fools Day started....rough estimation could be around the 15th century in France. Last week of march is the beginning of spring and celebrations would continue till 1st April which was originally the beginning of a new year.
(With the reform of the calendar under Charles IX, the Gregorian Calendar was introduced, and New Year's Day was moved to January 1)
Some people refused to accept the new calendar and continued to celebrate the new year on April 1. These backward folk were labeled as "fools" by the general populace. They were subject to some ridicule, and were often sent on "fools errands" or were made the butt of other practical jokes.
