Sachin Tendulkar - Indian Cricketer


Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar (born April 24, 1973) is an Indian cricketer,

widely considered to be one of the greatest batsmen of all time.

He currently holds the World Record for the most runs in One-Day Internationals,

He holds the World Record for the most number of centuries scored in One-day Internationals

He holds the World Record for the most number of centuries scored in Test cricket.

Sachin Tendulkar has become the world record holder for Test runs scorer,

surpassing Brian Lara's previous best mark of 11,953.

As of 17th october 2008 a total of 12,027 runs have been achieved– making him the first batsman ever to surpass 12,000 Test runs.


He holds the World Record in the World Cup for the most amount of runs total - 1732


He holds the World Record in the World Cup for Most Runs in a Tournament [beating his original 1996 record]
